One of the great benefits of being a member of Charity IT Leaders is the chance to attend one of the regular topical dinners. With up to ten guests and led by a Trustee, they provide an informal space for open discussion on a topic relevant to members.
At the dinner in January the conversation was on the upcoming General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and its impact on charities. The conclusion, after a friendly and relaxed dinner, was that this is going to be a major challenge requiring careful preparation and change.
One of the practical outcomes from the dinner was agreement to start a formal CITL Group to meet and work through this topic in much more detail.
The first meeting is on 23rd March at 11:30.
If you are not a member of CITL, become one today and enjoy the many benefits of membership.
